Shu Takahashi is grand contemporary artist in Japan.
Shu was born in Hiroshima, Japan in 1930.
He was awarded to Yasui Prize(Yasui Prize is the most famous prize for young painter) in 1961.
He moved to Roma, Italy in 1963.
He is creating many paintings, printworks,monument works. His works are known in the art form with a smooth-shaped relief of a single color of white, red,black.
He finished 41 years living in Italy, came back to Japan in 2004.
In recent years, His Works are inspired to RINPA school of japanes painting.
